As I wait upon Thee, Jesus
to fulfill all that You have said
I am taken back in time
to the times that You have led...
Through those sad and lonely moments
that tried my very soul
Your Spirit gently nourished me
my heart You did console.
So today I am reminded
that I am never, ever alone
That You stand beside me
and show me how I've grown...
Able now to see the path
Your light brightens the way
I step out to face the future
and desire to seize the day.
