Count your blessings one by one
is a song most of us have heard
So as we begin this brand New Year
we think of blessings that have occurred.
As we give thanks for all these blessings
we feel His Presence draw near
And know that He will once again
fill our hearts with cheer.
Blessings come to one and all
and sometimes we just don't see
That He has been working diligently
so that we might be...
Happy and secure in the knowledge
that He does take care of needs
And all of our expectations of Him
He will gladly exceed.
So begin this New Year with gladness
and fill your heart with joy
For God has given unto us
this life to enjoy...
He deserves our utmost devotion
for in only Him will be found
The peace that passeth understanding
in His Love doth abound.
