When the storms of life assail you
and you are mired beneath the load
Turn to the only One that can help you
and go swiftly to His abode.
There you will find peace and understanding
He will help to make you whole...
As you bring Him all your burdens
He will restore your very soul.
He tells us to live in just this moment
for we are not promised more
And to cleanse our minds of everything
all those things that have gone before
They are gone and there is nothing
you can do to change the past
Only be here in this moment
and dwell on Him that is steadfast.
He will always lead and guide you
as you seek Him out in prayer
For He has promised one and all
that He would meet them there.
So today go forth in victory
for now you know the way
To put all that is behind you
and walk boldly into the day!
