The Language of the Heart

The Language of the Heart
LORD,
I had some special requests to bring to You this
morning and prayed fervently about them, but when
I finished . Lord. I thought that I still wanted to talk
to You and it just wasn't enough. That is when the
thought arose about You knowing the language of
the heart.
Having designed and made me, Lord, You already
know what I have need of, and You put in my mind
and on my heart who is in need of my prayers. Even
when I don't know what to say anymore, You look
upon the language of my heart. You know I was
made for such as this. I know not how to pray for
what is best for another, but You do. You know the
outcome You want and what is best.
I now understand the verse in the Bible where You
talk about how we come to you with our petitions.
In Romans 8:26, the Bible tells us ... "likewise the
Spirit also helpeth our infirmities for we know not
what we should pray for as we ought. but the Spirit
itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which
can not be uttered."
Lord, we are always praying from our perspective and
how things will affect us, but I pray this morning that
You attend the language of my heart, and that You will
help me to accept all results of the prayers and petitions
I have brought before You this day. Not my will. but
Thine be done in all things.
Amen
