Freedom from Fear

Freedom from Fear

The fear of death came knocking
as Faith and Hope hurried to the door
They told him fear did not belong here
he would have to try another's door.
They told him Love did not agree with him
that he really did not exist
That death is swallowed up in victory
when the Lord's aid you did enlist.

He had to leave, he was not welcomed
to leave his fear with them
And so he went upon his way
seeking who would believe in him.
Love told Faith and Hope that He
would always be by their side
All they had to do was call on Him
for in Love they did abide.
